One of the first things to consider when you are looking for an affiliate product to promote is to ask yourself, “Who would buy this? What problem do they have? Will this solve a problem?” If you find the answers to these questions, there is a pretty good chance that there are others who will be looking to have these problems solved and will be interested in buying this product. You can’t just base your decision to promote an affiliate program because you like it, because there are times when you might like something, but nobody else does.
Research the Affiliate Program
It is important to know the product and the program you are considering. You don’t want to be surprised if you’ve sold a 100 products and then you don’t get paid. Often when money is tight at this time of the year you will often hear negative voices proclaiming loudly about “how commercial Christmas has become”, or “how they wish Christmas would just go away”. I just think to myself that the old “Scrooge” must not have kids or he wouldn’t be saying something like that, even if it is true.
The really sad thing is that Christmas has gotten so very expense that there are plenty of good reasons for people to be worried about not having enough money to pay for Christmas for their kids. The fact of the matter is that the expense can leave us in debt (if we don’t watch carefully over the amounts we are spending) long after the wrapping paper has been recycled, the food has been eaten and we’ve recovered from the hang-overs from all the parties we’ve attended.
