I often get emails from folks that have decided on the information products they want to sell online. They have selected a domain name that matches the niche they have chosen to market their information products to; they have built their websites; they have written and submitted a few articles to article directories, but they are still not getting any website traffic. I get frantic emails stating:
“I need help getting traffic to my website!”
Help is on the way….
I recently received an email from a marketer that I have been dealing with for several years named Rob Toth. Rob has been kind enough to give away a set of videos; plus a resource file e-book
and cheat sheet; plus a bunch of other free products that he has developed over the years. Read more... (356 words, 6 images, estimated 1:25 mins reading time)
Unless you’ve been living under a tree root or had your computer
turned off for the last 48 hours … you’ve heard about Brad Callen’s updated version of Keyword Elite software
…
Every Internet marketer and his third cousins brother is pushing the new version of Keyword Elite, but just in case you haven’t heard, here is a link to get the free report that Brad Callen is giving away for the product launch. The report is a good read and is well worth downloading.
Click the image to get the report (it is a good report).
but ….
I wouldn’t buy the Keyword Elite software.
I was given a complementary copy and, don’t get me wrong, it is an excellent product,
but….
There are a couple of things that give me pause…..
1. First of all, it lays claims to some blackhat voodoo, I mean backdoor voodoo, such as swiping other marketers PPC ad campaigns (isn’t that unethical?) Read more... (436 words, 6 images, estimated 1:45 mins reading time)
When I first wrote Quit Being a Wage Slave a year ago, I had advised never to use GoDaddy as a web hosting service, but that it was O.K. to register your domain names with them. Well…..
I was wrong. Let me explain.
First of all, GoDaddy is not Internet Marketing friendly. What that means is that, if you were to get a spam complaint, (it doesn’t matter whether or not the complaint is correct or not) Go Daddy will
shut down your site immediately, no questions asked. It can take weeks to months to resolve the issue with you, as the site owner, responsible for proving you have not spammed anyone.
In my book
, Quit Being a Wage Slave, I had stated that it was O.K. to register a domain name with GoDaddy, but to NEVER use GoDaddy as a hosting company.

So simple, yet so true…..
‘Positive thinking does not create wealth, taking action does.’
Nothing that makes you go WOW, but I think we all understand how true it is, and it’s good to take a moment to think about it and then do it!
We can waste a great part of our day reading all of the emails that come into our inbox, buy all of the new shiny products that we really don’t need NOW at this moment, but might need in the future, when we get better at making money online.
So there we sit dreaming about what we are going to do with the new product. We download it, unzip it (maybe), then without even opening the folder to look at it, we file it away for future use and promptly forget about it.
This is where we need to stop dreaming and take action. NOW. Read more... (193 words, 1 image, estimated 46 secs reading time)

Putting up and sustaining a membership site can pose to be a great challenge at times, especially when you notice that members are withdrawing their memberships one by one.
You might think how utterly unsatisfying it is when you have worked so hard to recruit them as members, and it is just too easy for them to get out through the back door faster than they have entered.
But on a more positive note, retaining members is easy if you know how. Here are some of the effective ways to keep your members satisfied and loyal to your site.
Tip # 1: Give Your Members A Sense Of Worth.

Just about everyone in the world is using Twitter
as the latest trend for social networking, but there is a right and wrong way to use it as a marketing tool. Here are a few tips to help you become better at Twittering.
Tip #1 - Don’t bother telling people “What are you doing?”.
Unless your account is a personal Twitter account that is only for your close friends and/or family, nobody cares what you’re doing. They don’t care what you’re eating for dinner, what you’re watching on T.V. or what you’re doing at work, unless there’s something in it for them. Keep in mind that everything you Tweet goes out around the world and remains there forever. If you don’t want everyone to know something about yourself, then use common sense, keep it to yourself, and don’t tweet about it.
Tip #2 – Be sociable because that’s what Twitter is. Read more... (742 words, 2 images, estimated 2:58 mins reading time)
Website flipping might be something that you have never thought of before as a work at home idea. Well, there are a lot of average, everyday people, quietly generating income from home to the tune of $500 – $700 per flip, or per sale, who are doing this, including yours truly.
It’s along the same idea as flipping real estate except without all the big expenses, complicated laws, and licensing stuff. In other words you can start with inexpensive virtual real estate for a little bit of money and sell it for a huge profit.
Since flipping websites is digital you can get started at a low cost for under $50 and Justin Brooke teaches an excellent course on how you can turn that into as much as $5,000 in just 30 days. I have been learning from Justin and his wife Chaunna, and I am happy to say that, by god, you can teach an old dog new tricks! Read more... (400 words, 3 images, estimated 1:36 mins reading time)
I was dumber than a box of rocks when it comes to creating my own graphics for my websites. Everything I have tried in the past has been just too steep of a learning curve, making it difficult for me to wrap my head around it. I would get so frustrated that I finally threw in the towel and resorted to hiring a graphic artist to created my graphics for my websites. Every once in a while I can find free graphics online, but usually I can’t find what I need for the niche I am working on, so I again have to outsource the graphic design.
That was what I did until now….
I spent today making 20 different header graphics for a client to preview, before I get started building his website, and I did it all by myself. I am so proud of me (pat, pat, pat myself on the back). I can’t believe how easy it was and that I could actually do it without any help! Read more...
